The collections at Bennington Museum are extensive and full of historic artifacts, some of which date back to the 18th century. We encourage you take your time and view each of the amazing collections, including the museum’s collection of rare books and manuscripts. Within their archives and rare books, you can even see a rare, first edition of Ethan Allen’s, Reason, The Oracle of Man.
Other notable collections include The Battle of Bennington, Fashion and Textiles, and Pottery. However, it is important to note that you will miss out if you don’t visit the Grandma Moses collection. This Grandma Moses collection is the largest in the world and includes paintings, photographs, needlework, and more!

Helpful Information for Your Visit
- From February through May and from November through December, operating hours are Thursday through Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. From June through October, the museum is open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The museum is closed for January, and special hours apply on holidays.
- Admission for adults is $10 and $9 for seniors. Your admission is valid for two consecutive days.
